The Innovation Park @Gui’an is being developed under the themes of energy, LID mode, smart city and cultural inheritance. It is intended to demonstrate over twenty plots, a variety of innovative products and building systems to supply efficient and sustainable new-pattern urbanization.

The Innovation Park will achieve real-time monitoring, smart controls and long-distance assessment to create an exemplar smart city, combining green ecological sensors and an intelligent management centre together with other software and hardware. Gui’an Innovation Park is not only an expo for green technologies but also the authoritative assessment base for new technologies and the standard-setting organization for China green building and community standards in the future.

It aims to help the design teams, developers and planners to improve, measure and independently certify the sustainability of a large scale development at the design and planning stage.
